Job summary

Town of Oro Valley in Arizona seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician I, II, or III to perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on Town facilities under supervision. Tasks include HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and safety checks, with work order entry in OMS.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of facilities maintenance experience, and a valid Arizona Class D driver license. Training in safety and equipment handling will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance including plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC or closely related work.
• Must possess a valid Class D Arizona driver license on start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on facilities.
• Handle HVAC, minor electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, concrete and masonry tasks.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct routine safety checks of building assets.
• Record work orders in OMS and assist higher level technicians.
