Job summary

The Town of Oro Valley seeks a capable Facility Maintenance Technician who can perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on town facilities. The role includes HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and record-keeping duties under supervision.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of facilities maintenance experience and a valid Arizona driver license. Training for safety and certifications will be provided within six months.

Qualifications

Ability to operate and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related systems.
Willingness to learn safety procedures and follow OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Town facilities.
Handle HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks.
Conduct safety checks and maintain records of work orders.
Assist higher level technicians and operate service vehicles.
MaintainTools and equipment and respond to on-call duties as needed.
