Job summary

Simon Property Group seeks a Maintenance Worker at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems of the center.

You will inspect facilities, perform interior/exterior repairs, assist with events and maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines, schedules preventive maintenance, and keep accurate records and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects facility and troubleshoots repairs to mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs to interior and exterior areas, including painting and drywall.
• Maintain lighting, sign issues, and basic electrical tasks; replace lamps, fuses, and ballasts.
• Assist with setting up events, carts repair with Marketing and Local Leasing.
• Follow OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain inventory records, MSDS, supplies and tools.
