Job summary

Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Director of Maintenance with grounds upkeep, painting, and maintaining the facility and equipment in a safe, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED.
• One year previous experience in grounds-keeping, painting and overall maintenance skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Maintenance in maintaining grounds and the facility.
• Perform painting and general upkeep to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support compliance with federal, state and local standards.
