Job summary

The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Meridian, MS, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facility safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, supporting residents and staff in daily operations.

You will coordinate with nursing and other departments, perform routine repairs, oversee preventative maintenance, maintain grounds, and assist with safety inspections and drills, while identifying practical

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years in building trades/maintenance preferred.
Working knowledge of tools and maintenance-related software.
Preferred experience: HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance needs with nursing and other departments.
Complete routine repairs and preventative maintenance.
Support refurbishing projects.
Maintain grounds and common areas.
Monitor and service building systems and equipment.
Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills; suggest process improvements.
