Job summary

Twin Oaks Landfill is seeking a maintenance associate to support grounds, facilities, and equipment upkeep under supervision.

You will perform mowing, weed cutting, minor landscaping, pressure washing, painting, carpentry, and assist with water recycling systems and repairs as needed.

The role requires safety compliance, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in grounds maintenance or related facilities maintenance.
• Experience operating basic maintenance tools and performing minor carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, site security, and oversight of landfill and compost sites.
• Perform mowing, weed cutting, minor landscaping, pressure washing, fence and sign repairs, painting, carpentry work, and trash collection.
• Inspect sprinkler functionality and report malfunctions; assist with water recycling systems.
• Follow safety policies, attend safety meetings, and collaborate with team members.
