Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role at our facility. The position involves performing upkeep across painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC, with a focus on safety and resident comfort.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, supporting preventative maintenance, and documenting work orders using basic software tools. Strong knowledge of building codes and a proactive, safety-first mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC.
• Inspect and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend system longevity.
• Document work orders and track maintenance activities using basic computer systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and regulatory standards.
