Job summary

Westgate Resorts is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our corporate buildings and grounds in Ocoee, FL. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, basic plumbing, using CMMS software, and maintaining inventory while following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in commercial, corporate, hospitality, or resort environments.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair building systems efficiently.

• Perform preventive maintenance, work orders, and repair projects across corporate facilities and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs including toilets, sinks, showers, faucets, and drains.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues such as breakers, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and GFCIs.
• Repair and maintain walls, drywall, paint, ceilings, cabinetry, and moldings.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding safely.
• Use maintenance software to track work orders and updates.
• Maintain inventory and materials according to procedures.
• Identify safety risks and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and support initiatives.
• Support special projects, emergency repairs, and after-hours or weekend work.

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in commercial, corporate, hospitality, or resort environments
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair building systems efficiently
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use)
• High school diploma or equivalent required (technical training or certifications preferred)
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying conditions
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in Facilities Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
• Experience in a resort, hotel, or large commercial property environment
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems or CMMS software

Work Environment & Requirements

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Must follow all company policies and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as required
