Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Compton, CA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to oversee upkeep of equipment, building and grounds, including electrical, HVAC, conveyor and life-safety systems.

You will coordinate with local contractors and vendors to ensure safe, compliant operations and timely maintenance. Responsibilities include prioritizing repairs, developing plans, and maintaining records, while working with operations leadership to support production goals and budget

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical, HVAC, conveyor and life safety equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with local contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and building codes.
• Experience in facilities management within retail, distribution, or office settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance work and demonstrate SME level knowledge of MHE in the building.
• Manage site projects and align priorities with operations leaders.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for equipment services and ensure contract compliance.
• Plan daily maintenance, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure timely completion of reports and recordkeeping for facilities.
