Job summary

TJX Companies is seeking a maintenance technician to perform basic tasks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operations. You will assist maintenance mechanics with troubleshooting and repairs, following safety rules and completing daily paperwork.

The role requires a high school diploma (vocational training preferred) and 6–12 months of general maintenance experience. The position offers a set B shift schedule and hourly pay in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year experience in general maintenance.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe building operations.
• Assist maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Operate in compliance with safety rules and regulations and document daily activities.
• Identify supplies and equipment needs and participate in equipment repairs and installations as needed.
