Job summary

TJX Companies is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs for conveyor, sortation, and related material handling equipment at a distribution center in Phoenix.

Responsibilities include installing new equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and guiding others in safety procedures. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and a background in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding and knowledge of tools, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Proven proficiency in electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical and electrical drive systems.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work in compliance with all TJX best practices, safety rules and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local municipalities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repair and troubleshooting of all building and MHE equipment, plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, sprinklers, etc.
• Advanced operation and a full understanding of control systems, multiple computer programs, and all building equipment.
• Completes all required paperwork and maintains a clean work environment.
• Monitor all control systems to ensure maximum uptime.
• Recommends and implements improvements to equipment, operations, and procedures.
• Trains and guides other maintenance associates in preventative maintenance of equipment and safety procedures.
• Assist with projects and work with vendors as assigned.
