Job summary

TJX Companies is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs for conveyor, sortation, and related material handling equipment at a distribution center in Phoenix.

Responsibilities include installing new equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and guiding others in safety procedures. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and a background in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Advanced understanding and knowledge of tools, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
Proven proficiency in electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical and electrical drive systems.
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Work in compliance with all TJX best practices, safety rules and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local municipalities.
Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repair and troubleshooting of all building and MHE equipment, plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, sprinklers, etc.
Advanced operation and a full understanding of control systems, multiple computer programs, and all building equipment.
Completes all required paperwork and maintains a clean work environment.
Monitor all control systems to ensure maximum uptime.
Recommends and implements improvements to equipment, operations, and procedures.
Trains and guides other maintenance associates in preventative maintenance of equipment and safety procedures.
Assist with projects and work with vendors as assigned.
