Greystar is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the community. You will handle resident work orders, diagnose defects, and carry out routine upkeep to keep buildings and amenities in top condition.

The role requires general maintenance experience, tool proficiency, and a focus on cost-conscious upkeep in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools required unless prohibited by State law and must be skilled in safe use.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to represent management and respond to questions.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs; property management system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for basic arithmetic and document reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair issues by following policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling.
• Set cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors and address gaps.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; coordinate orders with budget in mind.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined.
