Job summary

You will lead a safety program, enforce OSHA standards, monitor interior and exterior areas, manage budgeting with upper management, and ensure secure workplace operations while coordinating with building owners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
• 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Follow organizational safety practices including PPE usage in designated areas.
• Basic math skills and ability to measure in feet/meters.
• General knowledge of mechanical devices; problem solving.
• Mechanical skills in plumbing, HVAC and building systems.
• Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Keen attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to operate a computer with Windows and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
• Perform or supervise routine maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with third-party vendors.
• Lead facility safety program to ensure compliance with policies and OSHA standards.
• Ensure security measures for the workplace; coordinate with security vendors.
• Address unsafe behaviors or conditions promptly.
• Maintain and supervise day-to-day operations of equipment and facilities.
• Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and incidents for staff.
• Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.
• Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility needs.
