Job summary

FinishWorks in Ohio is seeking a knowledgeable Facility Operations Manager to supervise and coordinate all facets of facility operations, from production to maintenance and safety. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership while ensuring efficient, compliant, and professional operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in manufacturing supervision or management, OSHA and hazardous materials training, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, quality control, warehouse, inventory, and administrative operations.
• Develop plans to minimize manufacturing costs and maximize resource use.
• Manage facility spending per budget and production volume.
• Set clear accountability for teams and cost reduction.
• Prepare schedules and assign responsibilities to meet production and shipping needs.
• Coordinate with other facilities to align scheduling and operations.
• Address shortages, equipment defects, inventory discrepancies, and delays.
• Oversee maintenance to reduce downtime and keep facilities safe.
• Enforce safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support employee morale, onboarding, and training.
• Participate in staffing activities including transfers and promotions.
• Stay current with production methods and management practices.
