Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support internal and external customers and all departments. You will implement the QA strategy to ensure continuous product flow in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, with potential for management advancement.

The role requires 5+ years in quality within a manufacturing environment, aerospace knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills (8D).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a Quality role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace regulatory knowledge/experience desired.
• Strong problem-solving skills (8D, root cause analysis) and the associated statistical tools.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP and quality systems (AS9100/ISO 9001).
• Ability to interface with all departments and external suppliers/customers.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Customer / Program, Manufacturing Process and Supplier Quality Engineering Duties.
• Develop and analyze data to recommend improvements in the Hydromechanical value stream; support quality performance.
• Develop, implement, and audit Quality Management Systems documentation and support continuous improvement.
• Provide QA interface between organization and customers; manage contract review/flow down, compliance, and corrective actions.
• Provide expertise in QA and process improvement tools.
• Develop and implement inspection/test plans, standards and acceptance criteria; investigate quality problems and action follow-ups.
• Participate in new product development and launch activities; define customer expectations, support requirements, design reviews, test programs, and cost management.
