• 2-year college degree or technical/vocational degree/certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspects facilities and equipment to determine service needs and staff requirements.
• Prioritizes work and assigns maintenance tasks to appropriate personnel.
• May perform some repairs and servicing.
• Conducts training on maintenance, safety, equipment and systems.
• Supervises both skilled and unskilled staff and assigns tasks.
• Develops and oversees a preventive maintenance program.
• Coordinates vendors and contractors on site.
• Interacts with occupants to address needs and gather improvement suggestions.
• Prepares budget estimates and manages inventory and expenditures.
• Reviews project plans and recommends improvements to operations.
