Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for managing staffing and training needs, as well as addressing any maintenance inquiries from tenants in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must obtain S-95: NYC Certificate of Fitness Fire Alarm Systems within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in all following fields: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building.
• Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and timely.
• Maintain inspection logs for building systems.
• Coordinate with contractors for contract services.

Skills

Knowledge of building maintenance and repair

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing

Ability to communicate clearly

Education
