Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Alta Harris Farms community in Mooresville, NC. You will perform routine maintenance, handle work orders, and manage make-ready tasks for leasing and move-ins.

You will uphold Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance across the grounds and interior spaces, coordinating with the Community Manager and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and use hand/power tools safely.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with work orders from residents and diagnose issues per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work of team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget; perform monthly preventive maintenance.
