Job summary

Franklin Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage inventories and coordinate repairs for the community.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–5 years of related experience; HVAC certification is preferred. Pay ranges from $20.13 to $37.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years of related experience or training.
• HVAC certification is required for this position.
• Fair Housing Certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team and coordinate activities.
• Manage inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for maintenance, custodial and grounds teams.
• Respond to work orders and scheduling of preventive maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Coordinate vendor work and communications, including scheduling and invoicing.
• Train maintenance, grounds and housekeeping staff; handle disciplinary actions if needed.
• Research and evaluate products used for maintenance and upkeep.
