Job summary

Drucker + Falk is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Charlotte, NC, to oversee property upkeep, supervise maintenance staff, and manage on-site operations. The role requires coordinating repairs, safety compliance, and vendor oversight to ensure a well-maintained community.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills. On-call duties and adherence to Drucker + Falk guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent
• Maintenance supervisory role preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise all staff under his/her direction.
• Hire and terminate employees per Drucker + Falk policy under Property Manager guidance.
• Counsel and document staff performance to improve work quality and attitude.
• Establish maintenance schedules and assign routine tasks.
• Maintain on-call readiness for emergencies and urgent work orders.
• Ensure safety training is conducted and records are kept.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and document topics discussed.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for preventative maintenance needs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance materials and records, including SDS and posters.
• Complete and return monthly preventative maintenance sheets.
• Monitor O&M programs for Asbestos, Lead, Mold and Fungi as required.
