Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair interior and exterior community spaces, oversee make-ready processes for vacants, and maintain high standards across grounds and buildings. You will coordinate with vendors, ensure safety and policy compliance, and support budgeting for repairs and capital projects.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, tools, and strong customer service to interact with residents and staff, with a requirement to handle multiple

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix problems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, and ability to interact with residents and team members.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and using basic office software; property management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspects work by team members and contractors; implements corrective actions.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies within budget.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance as documented.
