Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking an Asset Supervisor to coordinate maintenance and repair activities across campus buildings, ensuring electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems meet campus standards. You will lead daily work, communicate schedules, monitor progress, and collaborate with facility managers and engineers to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Applicants should have knowledge of maintenance classifications, strong communication, and experience with AiM CMMS and MS

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance classifications and union contracts.
• Ability to communicate with maintenance staff and customers.
• Proficient in MS Office, Crystal Reports, and AiM CMMS.
• Ability to lead in a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily schedule to maintenance and craft personnel at shift start.
• Ensure scheduled or emergency work is completed on time.
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
• Triage work orders and assign tasks to appropriate teams.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.
