Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a BAS Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities of technicians and operators supporting Region maintenance teams. You will supervise a cross-functional BAS team, focusing on operation and maintenance of Direct Digital Controls and related infrastructure.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, deep BAS knowledge, and experience with Siemens Desigo CC, APOGEE, and Xcelerator systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in building automation and DDC.
• Ability to interpret automation alarms, data and take proactive actions.
• Experience interpreting construction documents and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day monitoring and control of BAS to ensure reliable performance.
• Coordinate with controls engineer to maintain system sequences.
• Collaborate with facilities engineers to support system integrity.
• Review alarms and data daily to identify issues and maintain performance.
• Support energy conservation initiatives related to DDC operations.
