Job summary

Betances Health Center is seeking a versatile Facilities Maintenance team member to perform routine upkeep, repairs, and housekeeping across network locations. You will use hand and power tools, follow safety protocols, and report any major issues to the supervisor.

Responsibilities include environmental services, fire and life safety duties, security/access control, and preventive maintenance. Travel between Betances facilities and support emergency preparedness as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related technical education preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, housekeeping, security/access-control, or related fields.
• Skilled in safe use of common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on walls, floors, ceilings, doors, locks, sinks, fixtures, furniture.
• Perform painting, plastering, light handyman work, and floor maintenance.
• Troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments of locks on doors, cabinets, and desks.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies between network locations as directed.
• Maintain tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Travel between Betances Health Center network facilities as needed.
• Complete work orders and inspection records accurately and timely.
• Report safety and equipment issues to supervisor.
