Job summary

The Cottage Senior Living in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the facility, equipment and grounds in top condition. The role covers preventive maintenance, safety compliance and timely repairs to support residents and staff.

You will work weekends as needed, respond to on-call needs, and coordinate with the Environmental Services Director to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or vocational preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical systems, carpentry and/or general building maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties to keep facility, equipment and grounds in good condition.
• Assist with safety plans, inspections and regulatory compliance as part of Environmental Services.
• Maintain grounds, service equipment, and coordinate with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Support public relations efforts and communicate effectively with staff, residents and families.
