Job summary

Brandon Wilde is looking for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This full-time position involves a variety of maintenance duties including basic repairs, painting, and assisting with snow removal. Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs.
• Performs painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
• Performs minor building and equipment repairs and maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance.
• Assists during winter with snow removal efforts.
• May assist in general housekeeping, as needed.
• Measures areas to be painted; determines quantity and type of paint to use.
• Prepares surfaces to be painted, including but not limited to removing covers, furniture, etc.
• May apply wallpaper.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in basic maintenance.
