Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services – Folkestone in Wayzata, MN is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner. Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week with an on-call rotation; report to Environmental Services Director.

The role involves floor care, painting, remodeling, and various maintenance tasks across a faith-based senior living community. The ideal candidate will work independently, communicate effectively with residents and staff,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate with customers.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and follow directions.
• Professional image and service orientation to residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in line with regulations and policies.
• Maintain an attractive campus appearance consistent with PHS design intent.
• Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds as defined by site leadership.
• Assignments may include floor care, resident moves, remodeling, painting, building maintenance, customer requests, landscape care, snow removal, pools and other projects.
