Mission Point Health Care is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Detroit to handle installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of facility systems and equipment. You will perform floor care, inspections, HVAC and lighting tasks, and ensure sanitation and safety compliance across the building.

You will support emergency procedures and collaborate with EVS leadership, nursing staff, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate office equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Implement inspections and repairs under preventive maintenance and EVS Manager direction.
• Check and clean exhaust ventilators, HVAC units, filters and air handlers.
• Replace light bulbs, hang pictures, and move furniture as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in a clean, orderly area.
• Conduct monthly fire drills and document results.
• Assist in emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
