Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Michigan to perform maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Under supervision, you’ll use HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills to keep boilers, pumps and cooling components in good working order, with a focus on reliability and compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years maintenance/building trade experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, boilers, pumps, valves and heating system components and codes.
• Ability to plan/organize work, set priorities, and determine material requirements.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on buildings, property and equipment to ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.
• Under supervision of the Environmental Services Manager/Designee.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety and compliance standards.
