Job summary

Detroit Pistons seek a Sr. Environmental Services Technician to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across facilities. The role includes hands-on leadership, coaching EVS staff, and coordinating daily operations to ensure readiness for players, coaches, staff, and guests.

You will supervise routine cleaning, mentor teammates, and support event setups while following OSHA guidelines and EVS SOPs. Flexibility for evenings and events is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in environmental services, custodial operations, or facility maintenance.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and facility maintenance across offices, restrooms, practice spaces, and locker rooms.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to EVS technicians.
• Coordinate daily assignments, inspections, and priorities with EVS leadership.
• Lead by example and promote safety and teamwork.
• Support event setup, laundry operations, and supply replenishment.
