Job summary

The successful candidate will have at least three years of hands-on maintenance experience with pallet jacks and forklifts, a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrated leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Three years on-the-job maintenance experience with electric pallet jacks and electric forklifts.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to manage and motivate and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of associates engaged in building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, beverage department, power industrial equipment and security.
• Review, coach, and develop the maintenance associates; monitor work, policy compliance, and safety; issue discipline when needed; maintain associate relations through regular meetings and open communication.
• Supervises the selection, purchase, utilization and inventory of assets; coordinates with other departments to ensure upgrades and repairs are completed efficiently; maintain certificates of insurance and hold harmless agreements for contracted vendors.
