Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced Facility Technician III to oversee maintenance and repair operations across the facility. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely maintenance of automated systems, refrigeration, and dock equipment.

The ideal candidate has a background in industrial facility maintenance with leadership experience and relevant RETA certifications. Full-time hours are provided with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Facility maintenance tech school (preferred).
• Six years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• RETA CARO certification; RETA CIRO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation, daily monitoring and repair of facility systems.
• Supervise as needed when Fleet/Facility Manager unavailable.
• Mentor Facility Tech I–III to develop skills and responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Maintain and repair ASRS, dock equipment, refrigeration and PLCs.
