Job summary

Paloma Springs Healthcare is seeking a friendly Maintenance Assistant to oversee facility maintenance, ensure sanitation and order, and keep systems in good repair. You will report to the Plant Supervisor or Operations Manager and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include regular safety inspections, PM tasks, and maintaining records of maintenance activities and parts. A high school diploma and knowledge of maintenance procedures are required, with preference for those

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular, scheduled safety inspections.
• Follows Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks in TELS; documentations by fax/email as required.
• Prepares monthly maintenance schedule basing on calendar days and priorities.
• Maintains center profile and records of maintenance activities and replacement parts.
• Keeps required logs/documentation for Life Safety Manual and OSHA compliance.
• Daily rounds to establish work priority; process work orders via TELS.
