Job summary

Campus Living Centres in Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Services Representative to keep the building in safe, optimal condition through preventative maintenance and on-site repairs. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle multiple tasks, including coordinating with outside contractors as needed.

You will perform daily checks, service HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, document maintenance activities, and ensure safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks of the building and equipment.
• Greasing bearings, replacing filters and belts on equipment as per maintenance schedules.
• Monitor utility meters daily to track consumption.
• Check standpipes and fire panel daily.
• Ensure fire extinguishers are in good condition.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and inspections.
• Complete daily repair requisitions and basic plumbing tasks.
• Maintain records of all work and on-site activities.
