Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for a full-time Building Maintenance Worker at 601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY. Schedule varies with 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 12:00 pm–8:00 pm shifts. Requires at least 2 years of experience and a valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.

Internal referral bonus available. Fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Benefits include free meals, uniforms and laundering service at select locations.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day upkeep and smooth operation of the building and campus.
• Perform minor repairs to doors, fixtures and furniture.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by checking electrical appliances and doors after hours.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Notify managers about major repairs or additions to operating systems.
