Job summary

S:US is seeking a Maintenance Worker for its Central Maintenanace division, located at 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10018. The role focuses on cleanliness, routine maintenance, and grounds upkeep in a large residential or program setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance & cleaning experience in a large residential or Program setting.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas within the facility.
• Carry out minor repairs and building maintenance throughout assigned areas of the facility.
• Responsible for exterior snow and ice removal as well as upkeep of the grounds.
• Assist Staff with special events by setting chairs and tables up for use and ensuring area is clean and safe.
• Maintain building maintenance tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Ordering cleaning supplies, paper supplies, lightbulbs, garbage bags, etc. and maintaining biweekly inventory.
• Assist in moving and storing program supplies, office furniture, dorm furniture, and other items.
