Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the facility with preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections. The role involves following Life Care standards, ensuring safety, and maintaining professional relationships with staff and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one year of maintenance experience, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and building codes.

Formación

• Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances preferred.
• Valid driver's license in current state with satisfactory driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs and replacements.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, handle inbound/outbound freight and move heavy items.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation when required.
• Maintain dependable, regular attendance and effective team communication.
• Follow department policies and participate in compliance training.
