Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to provide quality maintenance functions at a Florida facility, ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and adherence to Life Care standards.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements; inspect equipment and systems for proper operation; assist in patient-related tasks when needed; and maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and patients while upholding the company’s Code of Conduct.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards and participate on an interdisciplinary team.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year maintenance experience

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing knowledge

Knowledge of local building codes
