Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to provide quality maintenance functions to the facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, inspections for safe operation, and supporting patient care areas. You will participate in emergency evacuations, work with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain professional conduct in line with Life Care’s policies.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment/systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, handle incoming and outgoing freight, and lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
