Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facility maintenance, repairs, and replacements. The role requires attention to safety, adherence to codes, and teamwork with staff and vendors.

Responsibilities include inspections of equipment, assisting in evacuations when needed, and delivering quality service to patients. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required.

Qualificações

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.
• Adherence to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and completion of training.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment/systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, handle freight, and lift/move heavy items.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain ergonomic practices and mobility during shifts.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
