Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a maintenance leader responsible for managing maintenance activities, capital equipment projects, and environmental compliance at our facility in California.

The role emphasizes cost control, uptime improvements, and safety. The ideal candidate has a technical degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years related experience.
• Experience in Project Management and Total Predictive Maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Ability to interpret safety rules and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities including capital equipment installation, repair and maintenance.
• Oversee building, grounds and related systems.
• Forecast budget requirements and monitor expenses.
• Drive operational cost reductions and continuous improvement.
• Maintain the environmental compliance system.
• Develop and implement facilities projects with quotes and timelines.
• Maintain fixed asset tagging and tracking.
