Job Description

The current opening is for a Facilities Maintenance Manager, responsible for all facets of the building and grounds. This person will lead a team of technicians and must possess strong technical aptitude, along with superior leadership and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and experience in a manufacturing environment, providing maintenance and overseeing facility operations.

This is a direct hire position, where you will lead all maintenance projects across the manufacturing and distribution facilities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in progressive technical roles, with at least 3 years in leadership. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, business, or a related technical field is preferred. Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Project management experience, including managing capital projects; proficiency in project management tools like Gantt Charts is preferred.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand algebra and geometry, and interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
