Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, hire and develop staff, and ensure all equipment, buildings, and grounds meet high standards. The role requires plastic injection molding experience and a strong safety focus, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

The Manager will oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programs, manage facility budgeting, coordinate on-site vendor projects, and assist mechanics with machine troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing maintenance teams including hiring, supervising, and developing staff.
• Strong focus on safety with experience related to Lock Out Tag Out protocols.
• Ability to manage budgeting and capital equipment purchases.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance operations and supervise the facilities maintenance team.
• Maintain all equipment, building, and grounds to company standards.
• Ensure plastic injection molding experience is utilized within the facility.
• Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programs and drive reduction of losses through failure analysis.
• Coordinate onsite vendor projects and support machine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond to service calls and assist mechanics with troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure stockroom operations provide necessary consumables and maintain compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities
• The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards
• Facilities must have plastic injection molding experience
• As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution
• You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis
• Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Facilities Manager ensures a effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.
• Facilities Manager oversees all onsite vendor projects.
• Other duties as assigned
