Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager in the Kansas City area to lead the maintenance team, ensure equipment and facilities meet standards, and drive preventive maintenance programs. The role emphasizes safety, budgeting, and overseeing vendor projects in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience with plastic injection molding facilities, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate capital equipment purchases and installation in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities
• The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards
• Facilities must have plastic injection molding experience
• As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution
• You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis
• Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Facilities Manager ensures a effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.
• Facilities Manager oversees all onsite vendor projects.
• Other duties as assigned
