Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, hire and develop staff, and uphold safety and quality standards across the Missouri facility.

You will oversee all equipment, grounds, and budgetary aspects, drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes, and ensure timely repairs while supporting mechanical troubleshooting and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facility maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Experience with safety programs and LOTO.
• Budgeting and cost-control experience.

Job description

• The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities
• The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards
• Facilities must have plastic injection molding experience
• As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution
• You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis
• Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Facilities Manager ensures a effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.
• Facilities Manager oversees all onsite vendor projects.
• Other duties as assigned
