Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the physical plant of our properties in Boynton Beach, FL. You will monitor, diagnose, and coordinate general maintenance across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and related trades while enforcing company procedures and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building(s).
• Supervises and directs maintenance staff through work orders.
• Plans, monitors, and appraises job results; coaches employees.
• Assesses repair needs and estimates repair time; decides on professional help if needed.
• Monitors service contractors and building repair teams.
• Maintains disaster preparedness and response plans.
• Schedules and assigns work to meet shift requirements.
• On-call availability for emergencies and projects.
• Prepares reports/work orders for repairs.
• Performs preventive and reactive maintenance within permitted scopes.
