Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the physical plant across our properties. You will supervise maintenance staff, oversee work orders, and ensure preventive maintenance is followed, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repairs.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years in building trades, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will coordinate safety protocols and vendor contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Proficient in HVAC, cooling towers, chillers, painting, carpentry, plumbing and electricity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff through work orders and directs daily activities.
• Plans, monitors and appraises job results; coaches and disciplines employees.
• Assesses repair needs and estimates time; determines when professional assistance is needed.
