Job summary

Post Brothers in Philadelphia seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance operations and elevate property conditions. You will oversee service staff, coordinate with the Property Manager, and drive preventive maintenance programs across multiple buildings for reliability and safety.

The role requires a concrete track record in building systems, inventory control, and managing budgets while ensuring exceptional resident service and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Collegiate degree or trade school in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related field.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• 10 years in maintenance, construction or PM.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Advanced knowledge of building and maintenance systems, inventory control and preventive maintenance.
• Life Safety systems knowledge and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff; assign work orders and provide technical assistance.
• Participate in vendor management and inspections; ensure property standards.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and expenditures.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment; monitor inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality of services.
• Maintain safety standards and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and company policies.
