Job summary

Post Brothers is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Philadelphia, PA to oversee community maintenance and operations. You will ensure a safe living environment and continually improve building systems and appearances while delivering excellent resident service.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires a High School diploma or technical training, plus 2 years of maintenance experience. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and physical capability for demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or formal technical training required.
• 2 years working experience in maintenance or construction.
• Basic understanding of building programs: inventory control, preventive maintenance and work order records.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs within authorized scope or under supervision.
• Complete repairs and troubleshoot systems in a timely manner.
• Follow written and oral instructions and work well with others.
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Complete work orders in vacant units and ensure turnovers meet standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report safety Issues.
