Job summary

Post Brothers seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Goldtex Apartments in Philadelphia, PA. You will lead and mentor on-site maintenance staff, oversee building systems, safety and resident service, and partner with the Property Manager to uphold high standards.

The role requires a degree or trade training, HVAC certification preferred, 10 years in maintenance or PM, and at least 5 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of PM, inventory, life-safety systems, and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Collegiate degree or equivalent Trade School Degree in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or another trade.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• 10 years maintenance, construction or Project Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial roll.
• Advanced knowledge in building systems, inventory control, preventive maintenance, and work order record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and trains maintenance staff; assigns work orders and provides technical assistance to staff.
• Assists in selection of maintenance staff; provides feedback for performance reviews and training recommendations.
• Participates in on-call emergency rotation and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Leads property inspections and coordinates with vendors for building and safety inspections.
• Inspects vacant units and ensures turnovers are completed on schedule.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and reviews work orders for priorities.
